FIELD 05//DEBRIEF

The part the metrics miss

I grew up moving — Changchun, then Beijing, then a long stretch of Saskatchewan winters, and finally Ontario. Each move reset the room and taught me to read a new one quickly. That's most of how I design: figure out the space, then make it feel like somewhere you'd want to stay.

By day I build software — interfaces, the boring-reliable kind that has to actually work. The rest of the time it's game feel, shaders, and black-and-white photographs. Same instinct, different surface: get the details right and let everything else stay quiet.

This site is a warm archive more than a résumé. If you're family, a friend, or just curious — you have full clearance. Poke around.
